Abstract

|
연구목적: 본 연구의 목적은 COVID-19 대유행 동안 한국 간호관리자의 간호관리 경험을 탐색하는 것이다.
연구방법: 본 연구는 탐색적 정성적 연구로 2020년 10월부터 2021년 9월까지 국내 상급종합병원의 간호관리자 10명을 대상으로 개별 면담을 통하여 자료를 수집하였다. 면담 내용은 주제분석 방법을 사용하여 분석하였다.
연구결과: “예상치 못한 갑작스러운 재난으로 어렵고 힘겨움”, “소명의식을 가지고 중심이 되어주며 의연하게 대처함”, “함께 노력하는 부서원 덕분에 감사하며 견딤”, “앞으로 다가올 상황에 대비함”이라는 4개의 주제가 도출되었다.
결론: COVID-19 대유행 동안 간호관리자는 많은 변화와 도전에도 불구하고 소명의식을 바탕으로 위기를 극복하기 위해 노력했다. 간호관리자들은 함께하는 부서원들에게 감사의 마음을 전하였고, 향후 새로운 감염병 발생에 대비하기 위한 시스템 구축이 필요함을 확인했다.

Purpose: This study aimed to explore the nursing management experience of Korean nurse managers during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
Methods: This exploratory qualitative study used individual semi-structured interviews. Data were collected from 10 nurse managers working in tertiary general hospitals in Korea from October 2020 to September 2021. Thematic analysis methods were employed to analyze interview transcripts.
Results: The following four themes were derived: difficulty due to an unexpected and sudden disaster, being the center with a sense of calling and responding resolutely, gratitude toward health workers who work and endure together, and striving and rising to the challenge of preparing for future infection.
Conclusion: During the COVID-19 pandemic, Korean nurse managers made an effort to overcome the crisis based on the sense of calling, despite many changes and challenges. Furthermore, managers expressed their gratitude to the department members working together, and they confirmed the need for system improvement to prepare for upcoming epidemics.
